JEE Advanced 2023 Updates: Today, June 4, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati administered the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023. The entrance exam was issued in two sessions, the first wrapping up at noon and the second at 5:30.

Candidates had to present their JEE Advanced admit card and other necessary documentation to the exam site. Admit cards, which may be downloaded from jeeadv.ac.in, contain detailed instructions for the exam day.

On June 4, 2023, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati administered JEE Advanced. The JEE Advanced Exam 2023’s Paper 1 and Paper 2 times were 9 am to noon and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, respectively.

Papers 1 and Paper 2 for JEE Advanced 2023 were both three hours long. Each exam included sections in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Candidates were instructed to bring their JEE Advanced invite card and photo ID to the testing place.

Candidates were also limited to bringing only a clear water bottle, a pen, and a pencil.

1,80,226 of the 1,89,744 aspirants who registered for JEE (Advanced) 2023 took the two tests. A whopping 95% of applicants took the JEE Advanced 2023 test.

The JEE Advanced 2023 results will be made public on June 18, 2023. The result will be based on the 2023 JEE Advanced final answer key. After the test results are released, candidates who pass the exam can enroll for JEE Advanced AAT 2023.

IIT Guwahati administered questions from physics, chemistry, and mathematics in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 over the duration of today’s three-hour examination period.

According to the data, the difficulty level of paper 1 of the JEE Advanced test was classified as moderate to severe, with Maths being rated as the most difficult of all the parts. On June 9th, a copy of the candidate’s responses will be posted on the JEE Advanced 2023 website.

JEE Advanced 2023: The mathematics was difficult and imbalanced

According to the students, mathematics was also difficult and uneven. Functions, differential equations, inverse trigonometric functions, differentiability, vectors, three-dimensional geometry, application of derivatives, complex numbers, matrices, circle permutation and combination, and probability were all topics covered in the exam. The hardest, in their opinion, was this segment.

JEE Advanced 2023: Physics was unbalanced and required complex calculations

Chapters in physics such as Wave & Sound, Wave Optics, Fluids, EM Waves, Thermodynamics, Modern Physics, Current Electricity, Kinematics, Gravitation, and Electrostatics were given additional weight.

According to the pupils, physics was average. They believed that this part was unbalanced, though. Some issues required lengthy and difficult calculations.

JEE Advanced 2023: Chemistry proved challenging

Students claim that the Chemistry section. Physical and organic chemistry are accorded more importance than inorganic chemistry. There were a couple of questions in inorganic chemistry that came straight from the NCERT.

Chemical Kinetics, Ionic & Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, and Thermodynamics (with more than one question each) were all topics covered in Physical Chemistry questions.

Questions on aryl and alkyl halides, amines, polymers, biomolecules, and compounds containing oxygen are frequently posed in organic chemistry.

Questions with mixed themes were posed. According to the students, this portion was rated as Moderate.

Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics made up Paper 2’s three sections. Each question carried 60 marks. Each portion contained four pieces.

JEE Advanced 2023: Students Claim That The Chemistry Section Wasn’t Balanced

According to the kids, chemistry lacked equilibrium. A few questions in inorganic chemistry were directly from the NCERT. However, questions in physical chemistry included chapters of chemical kinetics, ionic & chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry, and atomic structure—Thermodynamics (with multiple-choice questions).

Questions about amines, polymers, biomolecules, oxygen-containing compounds, and named reactions were frequently asked in organic chemistry. Questions with mixed themes were posed. According to the students, the part was rated as Moderate. Organic chemistry is given more weight.
